On March 2, 2024, at approximately 12:32 AM, the Sansom Park Police Department responded to reports of a major crash in the 5300 Block of Jacksboro Highway involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive male lying on the ground. Emergency medical services and firefighters arrived to provide assistance to the injured individual. The male was transported to Texas Health Harris in critical condition and is currently being treated in the Intensive Care Unit for life-threatening injuries.
The other party involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The Tarrant County Specialized Investigations Crash Unit and Tarrant County Crime Scene teams assisted in processing the scene.
As of now, the investigation is ongoing, and the identities of the parties involved have not been disclosed. Authorities do not anticipate filing criminal charges related to the incident.
