Irving Animal Shelter needs volunteers! Every 3rd weekend of the month (both sat and sun) they hold an adoption event at Petsmart. Unfortunately, only a few animals are able to be taken per day. They are asking for more volunteers to help transport animals to the adoption events and back. Volunteers are also needed to help run the adoption events. The more volunteers, the more animals that can be transported, and the more lives than can saved! Please consider helping!
If you are interested in helping with the next adoption events on March 19th and March 20th, please attend the volunteer orientation on 3/1/11 at 6:15 PM at the Irving Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 4140 Valley View Lane in Irving, TX. You do not need to sign up, just show up!
Adoption event hours are usually 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM. Volunteers are need to help before, after, and during the events.
