On Friday, March 22nd, 2024, officers from the Sansom Park Police Department, aided by the Fort Worth Police Department, executed an arrest warrant in connection with the homicide of Logan Perkins.
In February, 24-year-old Logan Perkins was found inside his apartment bleeding and unresponsive. Sansom Park police say the murder happened inside the that apartment.
The suspect, a 16-year-old individual, was apprehended without any complications. Due to the suspect's juvenile status, no further details regarding their identity will be disclosed at this time.
The successful operation was made possible through the collaborative efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Fort Worth Police Department, Tarrant County Sheriff's Office, Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office, and the Lake Worth Police Department, all of whom contributed to the investigation.
