The Temple Police Department is currently investigating a homicide involving an adult female.
At approximately 7:55 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Broken Shoe Trail. Upon arrival, officers discovered one adult female with a gunshot wound. The victim succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
As of now, there have been no additional injuries reported, and authorities have assured that there is no immediate threat to the community or the neighborhood.
