Prime Therapeutics (Prime), a leading pharmacy benefit manager, recently increased its presence in Irving, Tex., with the opening of an expanded customer service contact center. Attendees at the February 28 grand opening celebration for the new space included representatives from area businesses, the Irving Chamber of Commerce, and other community leaders.

Prime’s continuing growth in Texas and throughout the nation due in large part to Prime’s commitment to exceptional service to clients and members. According to Elliott this commitment has led to many new job opportunities in the Irving area including roles for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, business analysts, project managers, finance and accounting specialists and customer service providers. In fact, Elliott noted, the number of Prime jobs in Texas has grown 36 percent in the past three years and is expected to continue to grow over the next several years.

In addition to the expansion of the contact center, Prime is also planning to expand its mail-service facility which is also in Irving. Currently the company employs 485 people in Texas and over 1800 people throughout the nation.
