Underwater Easter Egg Hunt: TheParks and Recreation Department will host its annual Underwater Easter Egg Hunt from 6 to 8 p.m. April 8 at North Lake Aquatic Center, 5001 N. MacArthur Blvd. The event will feature aquatic egg hunts for ages 1–3, 4–6, 7–9 and 10–11. Children will search for 10,000 plastic eggs filled with candy, take photos with the Easter Bunny, and enjoy magic shows, balloon art, games and prizes. West Irving Library: The 25,000-square-foot West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle Road, will have its grand opening and dedication from 10 a.m. to noon April 9.
