In Fort Worth, a shooting occurred early this morning at El Gallito Bar on the 3200 block of N. Main Street. At approximately 5:45 a.m., officers from the Northwest Division responded to the shooting call. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with at least one gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
According to detectives, there was a verbal and physical altercation inside the bar. As individuals involved in the altercation were being escorted out, an unidentified suspect pulled out a handgun and fired at least one shot, striking the victim. The suspect(s) fled the scene afterward, and their whereabouts are currently unknown.
