On Sunday, May 12, 2024, Dalworthington Gardens Police officers responded to reports of a theft in the neighboring Town of Pantego at around 8:50 pm.
Shortly after, a suspect vehicle matching the description was sighted traveling along West Arkansas Lane within Dalworthington Gardens city limits. Upon running the license plate, officers discovered that the vehicle was linked to an individual with multiple felony warrants for Aggravated Robbery.
In an attempt to apprehend the suspect, officers initiated a stop, but the vehicle chose to evade, sparking a pursuit. The chase ensued with support from both the Arlington Police Department and the Fort Worth Police Department. Despite the suspect's attempts to flee, law enforcement successfully halted the vehicle.
The driver was arrested without further ado and transported to the Dalworthington Gardens Department of Public Safety jail. Presently, the individual faces charges including Felony Evading using a vehicle, drug possession, and existing warrants for Aggravated Robbery and Violation of Probation.
