The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Sunday, May 12, 2024.
At around 11:10 a.m., officers responded to a single vehicle accident in the 3800 block of the south State Highway 360 service road, near Mayfield Rd. A Nissan SUV traveling south lost control and collided with a light pole.
The driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries and later passed away. The deceased was identified as 42-year-old Khoi Cannon of Grand Prairie. Khoi resided just about a mile from where the accident occurred.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
