On May 5, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., the Fort Worth Police Department’s East Division received a call regarding a possible deceased person in the 1500 Block of Sandy Ln.
Upon arrival, officers found a deceased male victim with an apparent gunshot wound to his upper torso. It was discovered that the victim was in a vehicle when it hit a fence.
A person of interest then took control of the victim’s vehicle and drove away from the scene. The vehicle was later found nearby.
As of now, no suspects have been arrested, and homicide detectives are conducting an investigation.
