Plano Police responded to a deceased person call on Thursday, May 16, around 12:00 pm in the 300 block of Dogwood Place. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased female inside the apartment. The victim has been identified as 54-year-old Rene Timmons from Plano.
Evidence suggests foul play, leading to the identification of the suspect as 33-year-old Robert Lee Timmons, the victim's son. Robert Timmons has been arrested and charged with his mother's murder. He is currently held on a $500,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing under the Crimes Against Persons Unit.
