On June 3, 2024, at approximately 12:50 AM, Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 2600 block of Macon Street in South Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man shot on the sidewalk. Dallas Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The identity of the deceased man will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. The incident is currently under investigation, documented under case number 085647-2024.
