On Monday, June 3rd, at approximately 4:55 a.m. , Dallas Police officers responded to a call at a local hospital where 18-year-old Tanya Medina had been dropped off with a gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigations revealed that Medina was shot while in a vehicle in the 3000 block of S. Westmoreland Road in Oak Cliff. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 085709-2024. Currently, there is no suspect description available.
