The Arlington Police Department is investigating a shooting that resulted in the death of a 38-year-old man on Thursday, June 6, 2024.
At approximately 10:03 p.m., officers responded to an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Cypress Club Drive after residents reported hearing gunshots outside one of the buildings. Upon arrival, officers found the man lying unresponsive on the sidewalk with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased from his injuries.
Residents informed investigators that they heard the man arguing with someone moments before the gunshots were fired.
Currently, there is no suspect information and no arrests have been made. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased once next of kin have been notified.
