Pedestrian Killed After Getting Hit by Two Vehicles in Southeast Dallas, Both Drivers Fled the Scene

The Dallas Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspects and vehicles involved in a fatal crash on the 100 block of N. Murdeaux Lane in Southeast Dallas.

The incident occurred on June 8, 2024, at approximately 11:45 p.m. Police responded to a call involving a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. According to the preliminary investigation, the driver of an SUV was traveling westbound on 7400 Great Trinity Forest Way and hit a man while turning northbound onto 100 N. Murdeaux Lane. Subsequently, a second vehicle traveling southbound on 100 N. Murdeaux Lane also struck the man while turning westbound onto Great Trinity Forest Way. Both drivers fled the scene without stopping to render aid.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. His identity will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case numbers 088904-2024 and 089035-2024.
