On June 13, 2024, at approximately 3:10 AM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 7400 block of Pineberry Road, near Mountain Creek Parkway and the Duncanville City Limits.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a suspect fired at an occupied vehicle driving by the scene. Although no one in the vehicle was hit, 17-year-old Christopher Wells, who was part of the group with the suspect, was shot. Wells was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified 18-year-old Terron Moore as the suspect who shot at the vehicle. Moore has been arrested and charged with murder.
This remains an ongoing investigation under case number 091128-2024.
