On June 21, 2024, at approximately 9:30 PM, Dallas police responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of Cedar Lake Drive. The preliminary investigation revealed that a suspect in a vehicle and two men were involved in an argument when the suspect shot both victims.
Dallas Fire Rescue arrived at the scene, where 35-year-old Alejandro Ramirez was pronounced dead. The second victim, 39-year-old Adriel Ramirez, was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
Further investigation identified a 16-year-old male as the suspect. An arrest warrant for murder has been issued for the teenager, whose name will not be released due to his age.
