Mysterious Large Amount of Dried Blood Found on Driver and Pickup in Tarrant County Accident

On Monday, June 24, 2024, Tarrant County Deputies responded to a major accident on FM 2871 (Chapin School Rd) at IH-20 where deputies noticed a large amount of dried blood on the pickup and the suspect.  The incident occurred at approximately 1:55 AM.  

When attempting to get information about the source of the blood, the young driver refused to cooperation.  

The driver was identified as 18-year-old Aaron Richard. He was driving a 1997 white single cab Chevrolet pickup with Texas license plate DFH2650.

The truck showed visible damage to the driver’s side door, tailgate, and front left quarter panel. Additionally, a traffic cone was found in the bed of the truck.  

Authorities noted a large amount of blood along the driver’s side A-frame and exterior of the bed, with markings on the rear window.
