Masked Men Caught Burglarizing Popeye’s Chicken After Attempting Wells Fargo Break-In

At 1:55 AM early Friday morning, July 12th, a witness reported two males approaching Wells Fargo Bank located at the4700 block of State Hwy 121 in The Colony wearing masks, black hoodies, and carrying a sledgehammer. Officers from The Colony arrived in the area, quickly set up a perimeter, but did not locate any subjects near the bank.

Officers then began to check other buildings in the area and found the males burglarizing the Popeye’s Chicken building next to the bank. After a foot chase, both subjects were apprehended and transported to The Colony Jail.

Neal Samuel Empy and Marcus Allen Parker were both charged with Burglary of Building and Evading Arrest or Detention. This case is still under investigation.
