The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office announced on Friday, July 12th, that 42-year-old Brian Ricker of Newark, Texas, was found guilty by a jury and sentenced by the court to life in prison for the continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14.
Ricker sexually abused a young family member over the course of six years.
"If he gets out, everybody would be in danger," the victim said of Ricker. "He's a monster and he will do it again."
The DA thanked the Fort Worth Police Department and the Wise County Sheriff's Office for their work on this case. The case was prosecuted by Steven Elliott and Kassidy Durfee.
