On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at approximately 9:40 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 6300 block of Hollis Avenue in the Parkdale area. The preliminary investigation determined that when officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old man shot near the front door of the home. Dallas Fire and Rescue responded, and he died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing and is documented under case number 107738-2024.
