On Tuesday, 06-21-11 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Irving Police responded to 3833 N. Beltline Rd. (Summergate Apartments) for a report of an unconscious person. When officers arrived the Irving Fire Department was already on-scene and informed the officers that there was a deceased female inside the residence.
Officers entered the residence and located a deceased 46 year old female who had sustained blunt force trauma to the head area.
The victim was initially located by her husband who was there to check on her after not being able to contact her. They were recently separated and he was living with a family member and had not been able to get a hold of her.
There were no signs of forced entry to the residence and no one else was located in the residence when the victim was initially found. It is believed that the victim might have known the suspect.
The victim has been identified as Pamela Joann Wilson (46) of Irving.
The investigation is in the initial stages so limited information is available at this time.
