On Friday, August 16, 2024, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the Temple Police Department responded to an aggravated assault reported in the 100 block of N 14th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 35-year-old Kevin Berry, who had been struck in the head with an unknown object.
Berry was transported by EMS to the hospital and remained there for several days. He ultimately succumbed to his injuries on August 18, 2024.
