In a Tarrant County courtroom, on August 21st, David Wilkinson, 49, was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison for Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child under the age of 14.
For more than a year, Wilkinson sexually assaulted a 9-year-old family member. The abuse occurred repeatedly until she outcried to a family member.
Evidence of his crime was found in Wilkinson's bedroom during a search warrant of his home.
The Fort Worth Police Department investigated the case.
