Fort Worth Woman Sentenced to 75 Years for Knowing and Encouraging the Sexual Abuse of a Young Girl

On September 13, 2024, 43-yer-old LaQuitha Gabriel was found guilty for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child Under the age of 14.  The Tarrant County court sentenced her to 75 years in prison.

The was a result of sexual assault of a girl when she was 12 until she was 17 years of age.

The Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office said that LaQuitha Gabriel knew and encouraged an older male who lived in her home to sexually assault a young female family member.

The Fort Worth Police Department investigated the case.

The prosecutors assigned were Melinda Hogan and Matthew Jackson.  The DA investigator was Josh Neiswender and the victim coordinators were Imelda Lopez and Cecilia Jones.
