On October 2, 2024, 34-year-old Michael English pled guilty in a Tarrant County courtroom to Possession of a Controlled Substance 4-200 grams with Intent to Deliver. He was sentenced by a jury to 42.5 years in prison.
The charges stemmed from an incident on March 2, 2024, when Fort Worth police observed English selling fentanyl pills from a vehicle in a parking lot on E. Rosedale. Authorities discovered that he was in possession of over 600 fentanyl pills at the time of his arrest.
During the trial, the jury heard evidence indicating that English had been charged in three additional cases related to his involvement in fentanyl distribution in Fort Worth.
