Two Irving residents have commited into restoring the old Irving Theater and give it a second chance. Plans are still in the works so they are sending out and invitation to all Irving residents to come out and support this project. One idea is to re-open the Irving Theater and show Classic Family G-Rated Movies for FREE (with a suggested donation, with 1953 prices on concessions!).
A very 1st Meeting for the "Friends of Irving Theater" will be held the following day:
Tuesday August 16th--7:30 PM in the Choir Room at First Baptist Church Irving.
