At the regular meeting of the Irving-Las Colinas Rotary Club on August 25th, the three head football coaches in Irving ISD will preview the upcoming football season. The Irving-Las Colinas Rotary Club meets every Thursday from Noon to 1 PM at the Las Colinas Country Club. The Rotary Club always welcomes guests and visitors to their meetings.
Jim Bennett of Irving HS, Steve Hohenberger of Nimitz HS, and Brian Basil of MacArthur HS will join the Irving Athletic Director Joe Barnett as the featured speakers on August 25th. Each will discuss the prospects of the 2011 football season, strengths and weaknesses of their teams, and highlight the players. The coaches will also answer questions from the audience. Visitors are welcome to come for this informative and entertaining event.
