On Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 8:18 PM, Killeen police officers responded to a residence in the 1700 Block of Shoemaker Drive following reports of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 15-year-old female juvenile with a gunshot wound. Officers administered first aid until paramedics arrived on the scene.
The victim was subsequently airlifted to Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas, where she is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
Detectives from the Robbery/Homicide Unit are seeking information regarding the shooting. They encourage anyone with information, videos, or security footage related to the incident to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 254-501-8830.
