In the early hours of November 2, 2024, Dallas police officers responded to a shooting in the 9200 block of Skillman Street in the Audelia area. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim, 29-year-old Emethius Chiron Hardeman, was transported by an unknown party to a local hospital, where he later died from a gunshot wound.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing under case number 166047-2024.
