The Fort Worth Police Department has announced the identification and arrest of two suspects in connection with a robbery at Helzberg Jewelers in the Tanger Outlet Mall near Texas Motor Speedway. The suspects, Jamairous Williams, 17, and Chase Allen Greene, 17, were arrested after an investigation supported by video surveillance footage.
On October 26, 2024, at approximately 7:00 PM, the robbery unfolded when a Black male suspect initially entered the store alone and appeared to be shopping. Moments later, he returned with three other individuals. The group used hammers to smash display cases, prompting store clerks and customers to flee for safety. The suspects made off with an undetermined amount of jewelry before fleeing the scene on foot. Multiple customers were present at the time, and surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects.
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing, with detectives believing that the suspects may be connected to other theft cases. This case has been filed with Denton County, and robbery detectives are continuing their efforts to identify any additional suspects.
