Entintado: Cross-Border Printmaking Exhibition to Open at Bath House Cultural Center

The Bath House Cultural Center will host Entintado: Inked Visions from the U.S. and México, an exhibition showcasing works by nearly 50 printmakers from the United States and Mexico. Curated by Enrique Fernández Cervantes, the exhibit celebrates the rich traditions of printmaking on both sides of the border.

The exhibition opens with a reception on Saturday, December 7, from 5 to 7 PM. This event is free and open to the public, offering visitors a chance to meet the artists and explore the diverse techniques and themes represented in the collection.

Highlighting the vibrant history and contemporary relevance of printmaking, Entintado explores themes of cultural heritage, identity, and personal narrative. The works on display reflect the creative exchange between artists from both countries, presenting a wide array of styles and techniques.

Participating artists include Nicolás de Jesús, Celeste DeLuna, Pável Acevedo, and more, with several North Texas creators adding a local touch to the international showcase. Through their prints, the artists examine personal and collective stories, bridging traditions and exploring modern interpretations of the medium.

The exhibit runs through December and invites art enthusiasts and newcomers alike to celebrate the enduring craft of printmaking.

Gallery viewing hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 12 PM to 6 PM.  The center is open until 10 PM on nights with theater performances.
