Former Irving resident, Dana (Hickey) Wright was born and raised in Irving. She graduated from Irving High School in 1990 and her parents, Jack and Sandra Hickey, still reside in Irving. Dana Wright lives in Corinth, Texas, with her husband, Brian and their two sons, Connor and Kayden. Her love of reading and books began as a young child and has continued throughout her adult life. Dana is a certified teacher in the state of Texas, specializing in early childhood education. Dana Wright and illustrator, San Acosta, both teach at Primrose School of Hickory Creek.
