On December 4, 2024, 44-year-old Daniel Morrison was found guilty for the Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child under the age of 14, according to the Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney's Office. Morrison was sentenced to 55 years in prison.
In January 2023, a family member reported that Morrison repeatedly sexually assaulted his ex-girlfriend's 11-year-old daughter.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department in Ohio and the Fort Worth Police Department worked on this case.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Hilary Wright and Kole Read. DA Investigator was Darran Gabbert and the victim coordinator was Angela Stevens.
