On Friday, December 13, 2024, Dallas Police arrested 34-year-old Sean Turner of Mesquite and charged him with Possession of Child Pornography (Child Under 10 Years Old – First-Degree Felony). Turner was a fine arts teacher at Adamson High School at the time of the offense.
Turner's linkedin profile also shows that he is an Assistant Choir Director at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church on Samuell Blvd in Dallas.
We reached out to Eastminster Presbyterian Church of Dallas for a comment on the charges. According to Rev. Dr. Paul Burns, Turner is a life-long member of the church. He clarified that Turner is on-staff part-time as an A/V techinician and "his job does not involve contact with minors or any extended use of computers".
"Eastminster will continue to do everything within our power to protect children and members of all ages. Sean's employment is under review pending any official charges", said Burns.
This is an ongoing investigation documented under case number 182067-2024.
