At approximately 12:55 a.m. on December 26, 2024, officers responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of Gulden Lane, located in the Trinity Groves area of West Dallas. Upon arrival, investigators determined that the victim, 26-year-old Elliot Jimenez, was shot by an unknown suspect.
Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) responded to the scene and transported Jimenez to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
