On Thursday, December 26, 2024, Plano Police officers arrested a suspect in connection with the December 10th hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Wilson Drive and Westridge Drive, which injured a child.
The suspect, identified as 49-year-old Zulma Beltran of Richardson, Texas, has been charged with the felony offense of Collision Involving Personal Injury. She is currently being held at the Plano City Jail.
The Plano Police Department credited the community for assisting in identifying both the vehicle and the individual involved in the incident.
This case remains under investigation by the department’s Traffic Unit.
