On December 29, 2024, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 5100 block of Langdon Road, near Wilmer-Hutchins High School.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Charles Powell had been fatally shot by an unknown suspect. Powell was pronounced dead at the scene.
