On December 30, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Dallas Police officers were dispatched to a shooting call in the 7300 block of Skillman Street in the Lake Highlands area.
Upon arrival, officers located 36-year-old Armando Cesar J. Gamboa inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but Gamboa was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation and is documented under case number #194423-2024.
