On December 31, 2024, Plano Police Department’s Vehicle Crimes Unit concluded a multi-agency investigation with the arrest of two suspects believed to be responsible for a series of vehicle burglaries across North Texas.
Vincent Allen Hudgens III and Angelica Chantel Smith were apprehended in Dallas after Plano detectives located the pair in possession of a stolen truck. Inside the vehicle, investigators discovered a firearm, victims’ identifying information, and various stolen items.
The arrests followed weeks of collaborative efforts by law enforcement agencies from Plano, Allen, Lewisville, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, and Dallas. Hudgens and Smith were transported to the Collin County Detention Center and face numerous warrants and additional charges.
