On January 1, 2025, at approximately 2:35 p.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 2900 block of St. George Drive, near W. Camp Wisdom Rd. The investigation revealed that the suspect, 30-year-old Kevin Violante-Varela, shot the victims following an argument.
Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the scene, where one victim was pronounced dead. The remaining three victims were transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Violante-Varela was arrested and charged with Murder.
The identity of the deceased victim has not been released pending family notifications. The investigation is ongoing, under case number 000257-2025.
