On the morning of Friday, January 4, 2025, emergency crews responded to a major accident in the 8600 block of Heron Drive in Lake Worth.
Lake Worth Fire Department, Fort Worth Fire Department, Fort Worth Police Department, and MedStar EMS arrived at approximately 8:07 a.m. to find a vehicle overturned in trees and water near the reported location.
Upon reaching the vehicle, first responders discovered one person deceased at the scene. No other victims were found.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 17-year-old Adian Lee Caraway of Fort Worth.
The Fort Worth Police Department is leading the investigation into the cause of the crash.
