A man was fatally shot while parked in a vehicle on January 5, 2025, in the 5300 block of Botham Jean Boulevard, south of C.F. Hawn Freeway.
Dallas Police responded to the shooting at approximately 11:45 a.m. According to the preliminary investigation, an unidentified suspect approached the vehicle and shot the victim.
Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of the family.
