The City of Irving has announced the temporary closure of the Dog Park located at 4140 Valley View Lane, starting Tuesday, January 21, to accommodate dogs from the Irving Animal Care Campus during ongoing construction at the facility.
This closure will provide a safe space for the shelter’s dogs to exercise while the campus undergoes improvements.
Dog owners seeking alternative spaces can visit the Paw Colinas Dog Park at 1300 California Crossing Road. Open from dawn to dusk, Paw Colinas features separate areas for large and small dogs, fountains, benches, and access to Campion Trail.
The City of Irving appreciates the community’s patience during these upgrades and continues to prioritize improving facilities across the city.
