On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at approximately 9:25 AM, Celina Police Officers conducted a high-risk traffic stop in the 2900 block of Dallas Parkway as part of an active investigation. The operation resulted in the arrest of James Prochaska, 34, on an active felony warrant for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
This arrest followed a collaborative effort between the Celina Police Department and the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division. Information provided by Kaufman County investigators enabled Celina Police detectives to obtain the arrest warrant for Prochaska.
During the traffic stop, Celina Police Officers apprehended the suspect, and he was subsequently transported to the Collin County Jail, where he is being held.
