Emergency responders recovered the body of a missing kayaker at Lake Lewisville on Saturday, March 15th.
At approximately 9:00 p.m., multiple agencies, including Texas Game Wardens, Lewisville Fire, Lake Cities Fire, Lake Dallas Police, and the Denton County Sheriff’s Office, responded to reports of a missing kayaker near the Lake Lewisville toll bridge.
According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, the kayaker’s body was located about two hours later. Authorities identified the man as a 29-year-old from Little Elm. Officials confirmed he was wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident.
The incident remains under investigation.
