The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office has made a record-breaking fentanyl seizure, removing 350,000 counterfeit M-30 pills from circulation.
Over the weekend, deputies conducting interdiction operations on Interstate 20 stopped a vehicle entering Tarrant County. During the traffic stop, K-9 Armin was deployed and alerted to the presence of illegal narcotics.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed 35 packages of counterfeit M-30 pills laced with fentanyl, hidden within the vehicle's gas tank. The total weight of the seized drugs was 43 kilograms, with an estimated street value of $1.4 million.
The vehicle's driver was arrested and transported to the Tarrant County Jail.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.
