Reflecting on his achievement, Chavez stated, "Earning the title of Valedictorian is not just a testament to myself, but to all those who have supported me in my journey." He advised his freshman self to embrace change, noting, "Change is a natural and necessary part of life. It’s how we learn, grow and discover who we truly are."
