Two Dallas Police officers were arrested in separate incidents for intoxication-related offenses.
On Tuesday, June 10th, Dallas Police Officer Elijah Walker, badge number 12538, was arrested by the Euless Police Department for Driving While Intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor. Walker has been with the Dallas Police Department since March 2023 and is currently assigned to the Central Patrol Division. He has been placed on administrative leave while an Internal Affairs investigation is conducted.
On Wednesday, June 11th, Dallas Police Officer Jerrid Couch, badge number 12622, was arrested by the Dallas Police Department for Public Intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor. Couch joined the department in September 2023 and is assigned to the Northeast Patrol Division. He has also been placed on administrative leave pending an Internal Affairs investigation.
Both incidents remain under review.
