Dallas Police are investigating a shooting in the 3100 block of Dusty Oak Drive in East Dallas that left one person dead and another injured early Sunday morning, June 22, 2025.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:55 a.m. The preliminary investigation determined that two individuals had been shot. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene; their identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification. The second victim was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital in stable condition and has since been released.
